Zipscreen shades start at $2500 for smaller shades to $7500 for shades up to 23 feet wide. With their increased popularity with homeowners, Lin said he expects to install between 200 and 300 ZipScreen shades in 2022. His team recently outfitted a patio attached to a Clarence home. When the homeowners threw a football party last fall, three guests were so impressed, they immediately ordered ZipScreen shades for their own homes. “Once people see them,” Lin said, “they want them.”

“Even though we live in Western New York, we don’t have to hibernate when the weather turns cool,” Lin said. “With our line of outdoor shades and draperies, you can enjoy your backyard patio, your balcony, or your veranda in comfort year round.”
